I must not fear, fear is the mind killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total abliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Throughout our trip we've met a lot of people. Generally the same conservation takes place: where you're from, where you've been and where you're going. Most people are traveling around the world - half the way we're going and half the other way round. You always talk and share your experiences with others. Without a doubt, the most amazing experience that people have told us about is sky diving.

Straight after jumping out, you start to fly towards the ground at an amazing speed. That first leap confuses every part of you and sends all kinds of chemicals rushing around giving you the most amazing feeling. You really feel like you're falling. Any fear you had was left on the plane and you're now just enjoying falling. All you can hear is the wind flying past you as you fall at over 100mph and whatever you're shouting and screaming.

We spent a few more days in Taupo after the sky diving. We liked that city; it was small enough to walk to msot places but big enough for there be plenty to do. I was unfortunatly unwell for the week after that and have only fully recovered now - but it didn't spoil the fun, so I can be greatful for that.
We've done a few things since then. I've uploaded a few more photos and you can now view all of the trip photos properly by pressing 'Trip photo set on Flickr' on the left hand side of the front page.

Food here is similar to anywhere in Europe. A few things are hard to find, like meatballs seem to not exsist and cause great debate whenever I've requested them. They have a wonderful supermarket called Pack 'n Save, which for those of you old enough to remember, looks like a very early Tesco complete with boxes stacked up to the ceiling. Then at the other end they have Woolworths, which is their Waitrose or Sainsbury's (very different from Britain's Woolworths). So they're pretty sorted. However, we need some ideas.

Just a quick post. The photo above is of Andy and Lewis waiting for Matt in Wellington airport yesterday.
